Millcroft Inn and Spa Set to Re-Open June 3, 2020 with a Strict Duty of Care Policy
The Ontario luxury resort to open with reduced occupancy and new public health standards
CALEDON, Ontario (May 28, 2020) –Ontario luxury hotel brand, Vintage Hotels, is excited to announce the re-opening of the Millcroft Inn and Spa on June 3, 2020. The Caledon, Ontario based resort will operate under a new Duty of Care policy that puts guest and team member safety first, this policy ensures strict distancing and sanitization policies for all operating areas of the hotel.

In doing so, we have implemented vigilant policies and procedures under our new Duty of Care policy, this policy ensures that guests can enjoy our exceptional hotels and all of their exceptional experiences with peace of mind.”
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the ‘Back to Nature’ package which includes overnight accommodations, a 3-course dinner for two, and a full breakfast for two, to both be delivered directly to the guests’ room. With 100 acres of property, hiking and biking trails and many outdoor activities that encourage physical distancing, guests can enjoy getting back to nature at the Millcroft Inn and Spa. However, due to Ontario’s State of Emergency the pools, spa facilities and restaurants at the Millcroft Inn and Spa will remain closed.
Duty of Care Policy
Vintage Hotels’ Duty of Care policy was developed to meet and exceed public health guidelines to ensure guests and team member’s safety. The policy outlines enhanced sanitization procedures, changes to service, and strict HR policies and training guarantees for team members. It also underlines the effort Vintage Hotels is making to ensure physical distancing for its guest and team member safety.
Under Vintage Hotels’ new Duty of Care standards guests can expect the following:
- reduced occupancy of 50%;
- restructured common areas with clear signage encouraging physical distancing;
- strict check-in times to reduce the number of guests in the lobby area;
- pre-selected and sanitized amenities for guests prior to arrival;
