Spa Etiquette


All spa appointments must be reserved in advance, walk-ins will not be permitted. If your appointment is scheduled with-in the next 14-days you will be asked some COVID-19 screening questions at the time of call. To schedule an appointment at the spa you will need to provide a valid credit card number to secure your reservation. Please note that treatment times are approximate in length. All our prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change. Treatments are subject to availability. We advise you to reserve your appointment at least 3 weeks in advance so that we may meet your scheduling requests. We encourage you to utilize weekday appointment times for utmost serenity. A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment.

To eliminate a point of contact all payments must be made by debit or credit card. We will not be accepting cash.


Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows you time to park your car, check-in at the Spa reception desk, complete your health form, access your locker and change for your treatment(s). Arriving late will cheat you of precious minutes of your service as we complete each experience on time so the next client will not be delayed.

Hand sanitizer will be supplied must be used upon entry to the building. Pre-screening for COVID-19 will take place by our helpful spa concierge at the time of arrival and a health form will be required to be completed before each treatment.

Only guests with a scheduled treatment will be permitted to access the spa.

Delays: Please note that late arrivals may result in the cancellation or shortening the length of treatment to avoid inconveniences to other guests. Full treatment fee will be applied.

What to Bring

Please bring a cloth mask with you to wear in the spa. All guests are required to wear the mask to enter the spa and during treatments.

We will provide you with a robe, a pair of slippers and a secure space to store your belongings upon arrival. All lockers will be thoroughly sanitized between each guest. Please make sure you bring your own bathing suit and slippers.

Please refrain from bringing large items to the spa with you. We strongly recommend to leave your valuables at home as the spa cannot assume responsibility for lost or misplaced items.

Please inquire with our spa concierge if you require any special items such as razors, combs, lotion etc. as these items have been removed from the change rooms.

Health Form

We ask all guests to complete a mandatory health form on arrival so that our therapists can prepare your experience and offer expertise tailored to your needs. Please advise us at time of booking of any relevant health conditions.

Our treatments are provided by either male or female therapists. Please inform us if you require an insurance receipt when reserving your appointment. Health claim receipts may be issued for RMT massages. Please advise if you are paying with a gift certificate so we may indicate this on the receipt.

Staff & Service Providers

All team members within the spa are required to wear a mask. Some treatment providers will be wearing gloves during your treatments. We have both male and female massage therapists. If you have a preference of male or female therapist this request must be made when booking, it cannot be guaranteed.


We strive to offer our guests a quiet and tranquil environment. For the comfort of others, please enjoy quiet conversation and refrain from using cell phones or other electronic devices. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

The spa and pool are smoke-free environments.

Hotel Guests

Hotel Guests have complimentary use of the fitness facilities and water therapies during their stay from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival until noon on the day of departure.

Millcroft Pools

Millcroft’s hot spring pools and facilities are open daily from 9am-9pm to IN-HOUSE hotel guests only. No day spa visitors will be permitted in the facilities or change rooms. Limited capacity will be allowed in the pool at this time and guidelines will be posted at the property. Please follow social distancing guidelines while on the pool decks.

Our fitness facility will remain closed temporarily.

Gift Certificates

Cancellations or Modifications

To cancel or modify your individual appointment we require 72 hours notice so as to avoid any penalties or fees. After 72 hours, full service fees will be charged. Cancellation policy for corporate groups are subject to the terms & conditions as outlined in the contract.

However, if you are feeling un-well we will cancel your appointment with in the cancellation policy with no charge. Guests exhibiting signs of illness will be automatically cancelled upon arrival.


Should you wish to leave a gratuity, we will happily provide you with an envelope at our reception desk or we can simply add it to your bill upon request. Gratuities are not included in any of the treatment prices.
