Maple syrup is the perfect enhancement to this light salad dressing. To make, pair your favourite mixed greens and cheese (we used goat cheese) with some red onions, candied pecans, and top with this delicious and easy maple dressing.
The Magic of Maple Salad Dressing Recipe
1/2 cup white Balsamic Vinegar
3/4 cup extra virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup cup Millcroft Maple Syrup
2 1/4 tsp Dijon Mustard
Salt & Pepper to taste
Candied Maple Pecans:
1 cup Maple
1 cup Pecans
Pinch of Salt
- To prepare the candied maple pecans, in a pot bring maple to 248 degrees F. Take off the stove and add the pecans, stir and place on baking sheet with parchment paper and let dry.
- Place all ingredients in a container and mix together with an emersion blender or a whisk until it comes together, garnish with pickled beets and onions, Woolwich goat cheese, candied maple pecans, and toasted oats.
