Inn On The Twenty’s Apple Almond Galette

Inn On The Twenty's Apple Almond Galette Recipe

Apple season is here and one of our favourite ways to enjoy this crunchy and juicy fruit is baked and in a galette. A galette is a free-form pie rolled into a circle and topped with fruit, in this case baked apples! The taste is just like a pie, with a little more crunch from the exposed pastry. This apple galette recipe with almond filling uses tart apples and a sweet almond cream. Head to your local farm to pick up the freshest of apples and then enjoy this recipe courtesy of Pastry Chef Clyde Pereira from Inn On The Twenty Restaurant at Inn On The Twenty
