Spa Etiquette


Spa appointments must be reserved in advance. To schedule an appointment at 100 Fountain Spa you will need to provide a valid credit card number to secure your reservation. Please note that treatment times are approximate in length. All our prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change. Treatments are subject to availability. We advise you to reserve your appointment at least 3 weeks in advance so that we may meet your scheduling requests. We encourage you to utilize weekday appointment times for utmost serenity.

Arriving at 100 Fountain Spa

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows you time to park your car, check-in at the Spa reception desk, complete your health form, access your locker and change for your treatment(s). Arriving late will cheat you of precious minutes of your service as we complete each experience on time so the next client will not be delayed.

Delays: Please note that late arrivals may result in the cancellation or shortening the length of treatment to avoid inconveniences to other guests. Full treatment fee will be applied.

What to Bring to the Spa

We will provide you with a robe, and a secure space to store your belongings upon arrival. All lockers will be thoroughly sanitized between each guest. Please make sure you bring your own bathing suit and slippers.

Please refrain from bringing large items to the spa with you. We strongly recommend leaving your valuables at home as the spa cannot assume responsibility for lost or misplaced items.

Health Form

We ask all guests to complete a mandatory health form on arrival so that our therapists can prepare your experience and offer expertise tailored to your needs. Please advise us at the time of booking of any relevant health conditions.

Our treatments are provided by either male or female therapists. Please inform us if you require an insurance receipt when reserving your appointment. Health claim receipts may be issued for RMT massages. Please advise if you are paying with a gift certificate so we may indicate this on the receipt.

Staff & Spa Service Providers

We have both male and female massage therapists. If you have a preference of male or female therapist this request must be made when booking, it cannot be guaranteed.


We strive to offer our guests a quiet and tranquil environment. For the comfort of others, we ask that all guests respect spa etiquette. Please enjoy quiet conversation and refrain from using cell phones or other electronic devices. Children must be 12 years of age or older to receive spa treatments and 16 years of age or older to use the hot springs. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the spa.

The spa, pool, and hot spring pool are smoke-free environments.

Hotel Guests

Hotel Guests have complimentary use of the fitness facilities and water therapies during their stay from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until noon on the day of departure.

Pillar & Post Pools

Pillar & Post’s swimming pools and facilities are open daily from 8:00 a.m.-10:30 p.m. for hotel guests. Hot spring pool hours are daily from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 100 Fountain Spa is accepting day guests Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Day guests will have limited access to the indoor facilities for two hours prior to their appointment and one hour after their treatment ends.

Capacity restrictions are in place for the hot spring pool only. In order to ensure everyone can enjoy our hot spring pool, we have created a booking protocol that will enable you to secure a 20 minute spot. Bookings will be taken upon arrival following check-in at the property and not in advance. Guests must be 16 years or older to access the hot spring pool.

Gift Certificates

Cancellations or Modifications

To cancel or modify your individual appointment we require 72 hours notice so as to avoid any penalties or fees. After 72 hours, full service fees will be charged. Cancellation policy for corporate groups is subject to the terms & conditions as outlined in the contract.


Should you wish to leave a gratuity, we will happily provide you with an envelope at our reception desk or we can simply add it to your bill upon request. Gratuities are not included in any of the treatment prices.
