Millcroft Inn & Spa’s Raspberry Basil Margarita

Celebrate the summer season with the Raspberry Basil Margarita, a delightful blend of fresh raspberries, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, garnished with basil leaves. This sweet, tart, and refreshing cocktail tastes like sunshine in a glass. Compliments of Food & Beverage Manager Jeffrey Bursey from Headwaters Restaurant at Millcroft Inn & Spa.

Raspberry Basil Margarita


1 oz Tequila
½ oz Triple sec
1 oz Sour mix
1 oz Simple syrup
3 – 4 Raspberries
1 – 2 Basil leaves


  1. Take a martini shaker, place the raspberries, basil Leaves and muddle them together with a splash of simple syrup.
  2. Strain the basil/raspberry syrup into your glass.
  3. Salt the rim of your glass.
  4. Combine all other ingredients together tequila, triple sec, sour mix and simple syrup over ice.
  5. Garnish with fresh raspberries and a basil leaf.
