Inn On The Twenty’s Italian Ice Cocktail

On a hot summers day, you’ll cool off with every sip of this refreshing cocktail. Inspired by it’s namesake this cocktail is sweet and tart combining fresh lemon juice, limoncello liqueur and Prosecco. Compliments of our Food & Beverage Manager Maribeth McKey at Inn On The Twenty Restaurant at Inn On The Twenty. 

Italian Ice Cocktail

Ingredients:

2 oz Limoncello liqueur 
Fresh (or frozen) raspberries 
3 oz Prosecco
Cup of ice 
6 Leaves of fresh mint 
1 Egg whites from single egg
1 oz Lemon juice 

Method:

  1. Add limoncello, fresh raspberries, ice, lemon juice, egg whites into shaker and shake vigorously.
  2. Strain into rocks glass and top with sparkling wine (prosecco).
  3. Top with ice and scoop out cocktail foam from shaker onto top of cocktail.
  4. Add mint and raspberries to garnish.
