Raise a glass to Icewine season in the Niagara Benchlands with the Cran de Glace cocktail. This drink blends tradition and celebration, showcasing the unique character of Riesling Icewine with a playful cranberry kick. It’s a seasonal showpiece.

Cran de Glace Cocktail Recipe 

Ingredients:

1 oz Cranberry juice
1.2 oz Riesling Icewine
Sparkling wine (to top)

Method:

  1. In a rocks glass, pour cranberry juice and Riesling Icewine, then top with sparkling wine for a festive fizz.
  2. Serve over ice and garnish with dried orange, fresh lime slices, and a sprig of rosemary for a seasonal touch.
  3. For extra holiday flair, add fresh or candied cranberries to elevate the look and flavour.

Tips:

  1. For a sweeter twist, try using a red Icewine like Cabernet Franc or Pinot Noir—its rich berry notes add depth and elegance to the cocktail.
