Mom’s love a cool refreshing cocktail on a summers evening, so why not make mom this unique cocktail inspired herb planter as a gift this Mother’s Day courtesy of Clippings Floral Design.  You can tailor it by choosing herbs that go with mom’s favourite cocktails so she will have fresh herbs for mixing drinks all summer long!

What you will need:

Container with drainage holes, can be something small for a patio table or a large focal piece

Potting soil

Herbs of your choice, enough to fill your container without over crowding.  Consider also small vegetables like cherry tomatoes and edible flowers for garnishes.

Violas – Sparkling Viola Cocktail

How to Assemble:

  1. Fill your container with potting soil, if it is a large container you can use rocks at the bottom to take up space and improve drainage.
  2. Plant herbs of your choice.
  3. Water thoroughly to settle in plants.
