Smooth, easy rock has earned Sam Roberts Band their place as a Canadian classic. The band and its lead vocalist have been delighting Canadians with easy rock for decades. Nominated for the Juno Rock Album of the Year Award, they’ve been delighting audiences all over the world with hit singles like “If You Want It”, “Ascension”, and “Take Me Away.” Back with their latest album, The Adventures of Ben Blank, their legendary live show is a festival highlight. Indie rockers July Talk skillfully blend blues and alternative rock to create a musical landscape all their own. Originally from Toronto, the group won the Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year in 2015. Hailing from Saskatoon, The Sheepdogs have become one of Canada’s favourite rock and roll bands. Pairing their soulful, retro sound with infectiously catchy melodies, The Sheepdogs have had wide mainstream appeal thanks to popular singles like “I Don’t Know”, “The Way It Is”, and “Feeling Good.” Nominated for nine Juno Awards, these bluesy rockers put on a not-to-be-missed show every time.

Chantal Kreviazuk – August 9

Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk has been a trailblazer on the Canadian music scene ever since her first album in 1996. Kreviazuk has partnered with some of the biggest names in music, including Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, and Carrie Underwood, yet it had been more than seven years since she created her own album. After this long hiatus, she has returned to the stage with her album, Get to You. With a delightful mix of her beloved hits and deep cuts, her songwriting chops are matched only by her soaring live vocals. Since then, he’s toured extensively, been nominated for numerous awards, and won the Juno Award for Songwriter of the Year.  He has taken the music scene by storm with an alluring and soulful approach to vocals and accompaniment.
