Events at the Jackson-Triggs Amphitheatre

Sam Roberts Band – June 7 & 8
Smooth, easy rock has earned Sam Roberts Band their place as a Canadian classic. The band and its lead vocalist have been delighting Canadians with easy rock for decades. Matthew Good – June 21

Known for his signature vocal style and guitar-driven melodies, Matthew Good began his career as the frontman for the Matthew Good Band, rocketing the group to success with hits like “Hello Timebomb” and “Everything is Automatic.” Since then, he’s released thirteen studio albums, has been nominated for 21 Juno Awards, and continues to write songs that dig deep, push boundaries, and speak truth to power.
The Trews – June 22
Prepare for a glorious night of unvarnished, honest-to-goodness rock and roll as The Trews storm the stage at Jackson Triggs Amphitheatre on June 22nd. With soaring power chords and catchy hooks, Hamilton-based The Trews have been entertaining Canadians for decades. The Strumbellas – July 12

Defined by their iconic folk-rock sound, The Strumbellas return to the stage with a brand-new album, Part Time Believer, and a brand-new frontman in Jimmy Chauveau. July Talk – July 13

Indie rockers July Talk skillfully blend blues and alternative rock to create a musical landscape all their own. Originally from Toronto, the group won the Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year in 2015. Their reputation for explosive live shows makes them a must-see at this year’s festival, having accumulated much of their success through their unique stage presence and, of course, exceptional talent.
The Reklaws – July 19 and 20
Born and raised in rural Ontario, The Reklaws are coming home to delight the Niagara region with their award-winning country hits. The Reklaws are an iconic country duo that continues to dominate the top of Canada’s country music charts. Proud to bring the party wherever they go, their latest single “I Grew Up On a Farm” captures the wholesome country charm the duo is known for, and is sure to enchant audiences for a memorable evening of good, old-fashioned fun. The Sheepdogs – July 26 & 27

Hailing from Saskatoon, The Sheepdogs have become one of Canada’s favourite rock and roll bands. Pairing their soulful, retro sound with infectiously catchy melodies, The Sheepdogs have had wide mainstream appeal thanks to popular singles like “I Don’t Know”, “The Way It Is”, and “Feeling Good.” Nominated for nine Juno Awards, these bluesy rockers put on a not-to-be-missed show every time.
Chantal Kreviazuk – August 9
Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk has been a trailblazer on the Canadian music scene ever since her first album in 1996. Kreviazuk has partnered with some of the biggest names in music, including Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, and Carrie Underwood, yet it had been more than seven years since she created her own album. After this long hiatus, she has returned to the stage with her album, Get to You. With a delightful mix of her beloved hits and deep cuts, her songwriting chops are matched only by her soaring live vocals. Bahamas – August 16 and 17
Afie Jurvanen, known by his stage name Bahamas, released his first album, Pink Strat, in 2009 to critical acclaim. Since then, he’s toured extensively, been nominated for numerous awards, and won the Juno Award for Songwriter of the Year. He has taken the music scene by storm with an alluring and soulful approach to vocals and accompaniment. His latest outing, Bootcut, blends thoughtful lyrics and no-frills country music for a truly iconic sound. It’s the perfect complement to the breezy summer vibes of Niagara-on-the-Lake in August!
Brett Kissel – August 22
