At Vintage Hotels our guests are welcome to visit along with their dogs at select locations. Our dog policy allows visitors to our Niagara on the Lake hotels Pillar & Post, Queen's Landing and Prince of Wales to bring their dogs. In addition, our guests at Millcroft Inn & Spa and Moffat Inn are also welcome to bring their favorite dog.
We understand how you love your dog and how they are a part of your family, however, please appreciate that not everyone else will share that understanding. While we are happy to have your well behaved dog visit our hotel, we must ensure that they do not affect the experience of our other guests in a negative way.
Dogs are welcome to stay with you only in our designated dog-friendly guestrooms. These rooms must be confirmed in advance as there are a limited number available at each hotel. Early booking is encouraged. Guests who arrive with a dog who have not confirmed a dog friendly room will be asked to find alternate accommodations for their dog on that evening.
A fee of $35 per dog, per room, per night, plus tax will apply. Service animals with proper identification will be exempt from this fee. Maximum 2 dogs per room.
Rules and Regulations
We are excited to welcome your dogs to join you on your visit with us. In order to provide an enjoyable experience for all of our guests, we do have a few policies in place. We ask that all dogs are accompanied at all times. You are required to control noise made by your dog, so that it will not disturb other guests. Dogs that constitute a nuisance to other guests of the hotel by barking or howling may subject their owner to any other charges for lost revenue by the hotel, up to and including the cost of a guests stay. Owners must provide a contact phone number if they are to leave the dog(s) unattended in the room, in the event the animal becomes distressed.
We ask that your dog be crated if left unattended in the guestroom, in particular during housekeeping’s daily servicing of the room and for evening turndown service.
If your dog is loose in the room, you must have a ‘Privacy Please’ sign on the door, in which case your room will not be serviced. We will not be responsible for your pet getting loose if you do not place the ‘Privacy Please’ sign outside your door.
For consideration to our staff, children, guests and other dogs, dogs must be on a leash at all times when not in your guest room, regardless of the perceived temperament of the dog. They are not permitted in the Lounge, Restaurant, Spa or Health Club in accordance with Health Regulations. For consideration to our staff, children and other guests, you must immediately pick up after your dog. There will be bags provided for that in your room.
